These options determine how a command is triggered after the abbreviation is typed.
Confirm key
Choose what confirmation key triggers the command with confirm key confirmation when an abbreviation is detected. SHIFT is the default key.
Leading Delimiters
Choose which characters are used to mark the beginning of a new abbreviation.
Trailing Delimiters
Choose which characters trigger a command with delimiter chars confirmation when an abbreviation is detected. You can enter any character: it makes sense to use punctuation marks and SPACE, TAB and ENTER key. Separator chars comes handy for confirming autocorrections so that the command is executed after the word has been typed
Customize default confirmation
Choose what confirm option is assigned to newly created commands, according to the type of command: no confirm, confirm key or delimiter chars.
Confirm group abbreviations
If checked, Direct Access asks for a confirmation when the typed abbreviation is assigned to a group or to two or more commands. If you want the abbreviation list assigned to a group to appear immediately, uncheck this item.
Enable group commands fast selection
When the item is enabled, Direct Access shows accelerators key in the group popup (that is shown when activating a group abbreviation) for fast selection of a command in a group
Show tooltip when a command is detected
Show a tooltip near the cursor indicating which command will be executed on pressing the confirmation key.
To change the Font and size of the tooltip, click on the Customize… button
The confirmation tooltip can be shown Above or Below the typed abbreviation.
