Adding the currently active application

Applications don't always have a desktop shortcut: Direct Access enables you to create a Command for the currently active application.

To add a Command to open Windows Volume Control

1.From the Windows Start menu, select Programs, Accessories, Entertainment, Volume Control.
The Windows Volume Control opens.
2.Right-click in the Direct Access Hub and select New Command for current Application.
A new command is created.
3.Note the abbreviation ("volume"), which you can edit if required.

Now, close Volume Control. Experiment by entering "volume" and pressing SHIFT.
