Applications don't always have a desktop shortcut: Direct Access enables you to create a Command for the currently active application.
To add a Command to open Windows Volume Control
| 1. | From the Windows Start menu, select Programs, Accessories, Entertainment, Volume Control. The Windows Volume Control opens. |
| 2. | Right-click in the Direct Access Hub and select New Command for current Application. A new command is created. |
| 3. | Note the abbreviation ("volume"), which you can edit if required. |
Now, close Volume Control. Experiment by entering "volume" and pressing SHIFT.
