Start Direct Access when I start Windows
|
Start Direct Access with Windows. Direct Access sits in the systray, quietly monitoring key presses to detect commands

Show splash screen
|
Show the splash screen at startup.

Detect abbreviations
|
Select to enable Direct Access.
If Direct Access is enabled, the Enabled indicator looks like this:

When abbreviations are not detected, the Hub and the Notify Icon are gray
|
Ignore simulated keystrokes
|
If checked, Direct Access doesn't detect abbreviations if the keystrokes are sent by another application (for example a macro tool, like Macro Scheduler). This avoid any interference of Direct Access with other macro tools.
If you experience problems with abbreviation detection (and Abbreviation detection is active), try unchecking this option.

Save data in
|
Location where the commands data file is saved.
|
Display delete confirmation dialog
|
Ask for confirmation when a Command or Group is deleted.
|
Refresh linked groups at startup
|
When checked, Direct Access will load the command packs associated to the linked groups so that your commands are always up to date.

Check for updates
|
Check for updates with the specified frequency (daily or weekly).
|
Diagnostic mode
|
When running in Diagnostic mode, Direct Access saves a file with detailed logging info on disk to help support to detected and correct errors
