Use the Direct Access main window to organize related Commands into Groups. You can then open these as menus, for example providing standard tech support answers, a range of signatures, or a selection of programming constructs.
To create a new group
| 1. | In the Groups Pane, select the destination for the new Group. |
| 2. | Click New Group
A new Group appears. |
| 3. | Type a new name and press ENTER to confirm. |
To rename a group
| - | In the Groups Pane, click the Group description to rename it. |
To change the abbreviation of a group
| - | In the Groups Pane, click the Group abbreviation to rename it. |
To move commands between groups
| - | Select the commands and drag and drop them to the desired Group. |
To change the position of a group
| - | In the Groups Pane, drag and drop the Group to the new location. |
| - | You can move a group up in the hierarchy with the key combination SHIFT+Left |
To disable the abbreviations of a group
| - | To disable the abbreviations of the commands contained into a group SHIFT+Click on the group icon  |
| - | Click again to re-enable the abbreviations. |
To delete a group
| 1. | In the Groups pane, select the Group. |
| 2. | From the Groups menu, select Delete Group. (You can also delete the group pressing SHIFT+Delete)
Direct Access deletes the Group and all its contents. |
